The Boys & Girls Clubs of Pitt County is currently running their summer program for 2010. The Clubs provide a safe place for children while school is out for the summer months.
Boys and girls, ages 6 – 18 years old, are eligible to participate for $25 a week, plus a registration fee, through August 21. The program runs from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, with an early bird program available from 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. for an additional $4 per day. Parents may choose to send children for the entire summer or on a week-by-week basis. Parents can take advantage of a 10% discount on the registration fee by paying for the entire 10-week program upfront.
The summer program is open to all children, regardless of whether or not the child has been a Club member at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Pitt County in the past. Applications can be picked up at any of the five Club locations between 12 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., or at the Jack Minges Unit on Fire Tower Rd. from 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
