Our Day of Service

To commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, our members along with volunteers through the Americorps program took the time to create Get Well Cards and Sun-Catchers for children who are very sick and are patients at the Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Children’s Hospital.  Our members learned about Dr. King and all the wonderful things he did for our country to create peace and equality for everyone. It is our hope that our members will grow to make an impact on the world that is just as great as Dr. King’s.
