Jack Minges Club, Winterville
In addition to our homework and recreational programs, we currently provide transportation from 11 different schools. We also offer programs such as Money Matters, Goals for Graduation and college tours to prepare our members for the future. Programs like SMART Moves, SMART Girls, Passport to Manhood and Street SMART help our members learn to deal with everyday pressures of self esteem, peer pressure, abstinence, and refraining from using drugs and alcohol. Our teens are involved in leadership programs such as Torch Club, Keystone, and Junior Staff where they learn the skills to be caring and productive citizens.
The Minges Club benefits from great partnerships with East Carolina University and Pitt Community College.
