Dr. Ledyard E. Ross Club, Ayden

During the school year we offer homework assistance through our Power Hour program as well as programs for Youth of the Year, nutritional health and physical fitness. Programs such as Street Smart and Smart Moves are also offered and are effective ways to help kids deal with peer pressure, abstinence, drug and alcohol related issues and general self esteem .In addition, we take field trips to the NC Aquarium, beach, swimming, skating, bowling, visits to colleges and the ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament throughout the year!
We have enjoyed exceptional volunteers by way of East Carolina University, Girl Scouts, Pitt Community College, A Time for Science Foundation (Bray Hollow Conservancy), SASI (sports training and games), and the Ayden community. We strive to make our Club a fun, healthy, and safe environment while encouraging our members to be the best they can be.
