Steve Lawler, Greenville
Steve Lawler, President of Vidant Health, believes all kids should be taught to do well in school, to treat people with kindness, and to give back to the community – all things that can be learned at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Pitt County. Steve, and his wife, Laura feel strongly about supporting the Clubs because the organization is committed to helping youth reach their potential – nothing could be more compelling or rewarding.
Trisha Bland, Farmville
Trisha has worked for the Boys & Girls Club of Pitt County for approximately 14 years. She began as an intern in the spring of 1998, became a part-time employee during the summer and gained full-time employment as Teen Director. She served as a Teen Director for 7 years before becoming the program director in 2006. She has served as the unit director of the Farmville Club for four years.

Sha’Quan Watts, Farmville
Sha’Quan Watts is the Farmville Youth of the Year. She is 12 years old and attends Farmville Middle School. She was chosen as the Youth of the Year due to her willingness to always help, no matter the task, and by her constant giving nature to help read to younger members. Sha’Quan is involved with Smart Girls, Jr. Staff, and the Torch Club, and is in Academically Gifted classes at Farmville Middle School.
